We are looking for a new iGaming Content Specialist, to join our award-winning Team, based in Bedford. This is a hybrid position (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home).

About the Role:
Are you a specialist in iGaming creative copywriting? Do you understand SEO fundamentals and how they relate to high-quality, relevant and timely content? If so, we want to hear from you!
As an iGaming Content Specialist, you’ll work as part of the Content Team providing support to both the Senior Content Specialist and other members. You’ll write optimised on page and off page content to an excellent standard, proofread, and sub-edit other colleagues’ work, while collaborating with the Marketing and Creative teams and contributing to client strategy and creative campaigns.
You’ll lead ideation sessions and carry out effective and efficient research. You’ll attend client calls and meetings on a regular basis, contributing to and delivering reports. And you’ll create and deliver content for pitches and proposals. Ultimately, you’ll develop and demonstrate specialist knowledge of target audiences in the iGaming sector.
As part of the role, you’ll also have the opportunity to manage junior team members, impart your expert knowledge, offer support and produce development plans as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Writing high-quality, relevant, and timely content ensuring it adheres to the style guide and is written in the appropriate TOV
- Creating quality commercial casino and/or sports betting content that informs and helps our readers make good decisions
- Writing, editing, and publishing a variety of casino and/or sports betting content types to a high standard
- Editing and optimising pages according to SEO guidelines
- Able to adapt tone of voice and create guidelines that adhere to client specifics across multiple regions, ensuring compliance
- Collaborating to produce high-quality on and off page content, digital campaigns and marketing materials both in-house and for a range of clients
- Collaborating with other members of the content, marketing and creative teams to ensure a steady flow of content
- Develop and create AI content strategies to enhance workflow
- Lead and positively participate in ideation sessions for the writing of content, pitches and proposals
- Produce internal resources and marketing material for the content team and the wider business based on research or training
- Write or repurpose content for international markets
- Attend client calls/meetings as required, contributing to client strategy
- Contribute to client content calendars, roadmaps and strategy sessions
- Proof and sub-edit colleague’s content to an excellent standard
- Carry out effective research, gaining a good understanding of niche and target audiences to aid with content creation
- Be proactive with personal development. Attending training courses to aid development. Constantly be looking to expand subject knowledge.
- Attending industry-relevant events as required.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
Essential Skills:
- A passion for writing with the ability to create different forms for different platforms
- A understanding of relevant SEO fundamentals (e.g., headings, metadata, content optimisation)
- A understanding of both current and changing SERPs (e.g., AIO, LLMs)
- Experience with relevant project management software (e.g., Monday and Meistertask)
- Ability to evidence writing to a high-quality standard
- A positive attitude with a hunger to learn
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Familiarity with AI (Artificial Intelligence) tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT)
Desirable Skills:
- Previous experience of line management
- Experience in iGaming sector
- Agency experience
- Degree in Journalism or similar is preferred but not essential
- Ability to write in different languages
