Are you an experienced IG professional with NHS and/or Healthcare experience? Do you have previous experience assessing and developing complex IG strategies within a busy health-based organization?

Position: Interim Information Governance Transformation Lead - IG Director – Band 9 / Executive IG Lead

We are currently seeking an experienced candidate for an exciting 6-month or longer contract starting immediately.

We need someone who is highly credible, outgoing, confident, and possesses excellent communication skills to work with the existing team and advance this program. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Information Governance and experience supporting the development and delivery of an IG strategy within a health environment.

The candidate should be a proactive leader, willing to address IG issues as they arise, prioritize based on risk, and be hands-on when necessary. You will assist in reviewing, restructuring, and developing IG systems that support organizational goals, with ownership and authority to take proactive actions to enhance IG practices.

This role focuses on Information Governance controls and systems, not on Corporate or Cybersecurity areas.

Details:

• Rate: Flexible depending on experience, circa Band 9
• Remote working with occasional travel to London (once or twice a month)
• Duration: 6 months, ideally full-time but at least 3-4 days a week
• Outside IR35
• Interviews scheduled for 8th / 9th May or immediate start subject to references and compliance
