This Global Engineering Plc is seeking an IFS System Admin & Development Analyst to support the Lead Analyst in managing the technical aspects of the IFS solution. The role offers growth opportunities, with the potential to lead this area of IFS in the future. You will be part of a global ERP team responsible for designing, supporting, and implementing new functionalities to meet market and business requirements, enabling the company to maximize benefits from the ERP system.

Your responsibilities include maintaining system administration, database management, and technical support according to global standards, providing support within service level agreements, and managing solution improvements to deliver business benefits. The role involves technical tasks such as SQL coding, data analysis, feasibility studies, database and process improvements, and report design. Collaboration with external auditors, end users, and senior management is essential, with an emphasis on communicating technical solutions effectively to non-IT stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop custom technical solutions within the ERP system to meet business needs.
• Support the System Admin & Development Lead with daily activities and cover during absences or maintenance periods.
• Maintain documentation related to the solutions.
• Review developments by other analysts for quality, consistency, and security.
• Provide effort estimates and communicate delivery timelines clearly to stakeholders.
• Enforce standard processes within the solution team and offer guidance.
• Lead meetings with business stakeholders to discuss improvements where appropriate.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency in PL/SQL and Oracle database administration.
• Knowledge of general IT systems and IT best practices.
• Logical and methodical problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
• Ability to design and implement business processes and solutions.
• Willingness to travel internationally and fluency in English.
• Relevant computing degree or qualification (desirable).
• Knowledge of other programming languages, ERP systems, Linux, and Oracle OCI (desirable).
• Experience working with non-IT stakeholders and in a professional environment.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, including remote interactions.
• Strong commitment to continuous improvement and accountability.
• Good business acumen and understanding of IT contribution to business results.
