Job Description

Position: Senior IFS Developer / Lead

Location: Reading, UK (Hybrid: 2 days/week in Reading)

Contract Duration: 9 months + possible extension

Description: We are hiring a Senior IFS Developer / Lead to join our ongoing project team for a telecom client in Reading. The role involves acting as the solution architect for the IFS ERP system, covering modules such as Human Resources, Finance and Accounting, Project Management, Procurement to Payment, Logistics and Inventory, Order to Cash, and Documentation Management. The role requires a good understanding of business processes across these functions and providing consultancy to SMEs to optimize processes and enhance IFS user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage IFS Lobby, Business Analytics, Crystal Reports, Data Analytics, and SQL Queries.
• Oversee contract management for IFS hosting and external service providers.
• Develop and maintain IFS development roadmaps, support models, policies, and ensure compliance with IT and security standards.
• Ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the IFS end-to-end solution.
• Coordinate multi-party projects, managing conflicting interests.
• Manage change and development in accordance with corporate IT policies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with IFS Lobby, Business Analytics, and Crystal Reports.
• Proven project delivery experience.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with SAS or similar data analytics tools.
• Flexibility in addressing design challenges during acquisition and implementation.
• Business improvement experience.
• Experience managing matrix and functional teams is desirable.
• Experience leading technical review meetings with vendors.
