Job summary

GSK is seeking a senior facilities leader to head the onsite IFM team at Barnard Castle. You will drive delivery, ensure high standards across business units, and coach a growing team.

The role collaborates with engineering, operations and suppliers to uphold safety, quality and regulatory compliance. You will manage budgets, schedules and contractor relationships while maintaining rigorous GxP and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in facilities management or related discipline.
• Strong experience in facilities management in a complex environment.
• Strong contractor and supplier management experience with contract oversight.
• Clear communicator with stakeholder engagement and problem solving skills.
• Experience in budget management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the IFM Programme at the Barnard Castle site, ensuring delivery and high standards across units.
• Manage budgets, schedules and scope to meet performance, safety and quality targets.
• Select, manage and coordinate contractors and suppliers for safe delivery.
• Coach and develop the IFM team to build capability.
• Ensure compliance with site safety, environmental and engineering standards.
