Job summary

Clark James Recruitment is working with a professional IFA business in Maidstone seeking an IFA Administrator/Paraplanner. This role supports Financial Advisors with research, report preparation and client records.

You will build cash flow models, draft suitability reports, liaise with clients, and ensure compliance with FCA guidelines. Level 4 Diploma (or working towards) and prior IFA experience are preferred; flexible working and development support are offered.

Qualifications

• Level 4 Diploma (or working towards)
• Experience as IFA Administrator, Paraplanner, or similar in financial services
• Strong understanding of financial products and planning tools
• FCA regulations familiarity and compliance awareness
• Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to distil complex info

Responsibilities

• Client Research: analyze financial products, markets and client portfolios to support IFAs in recommendations.
• Report Preparation: produce compliant suitability reports outlining tailored financial solutions.
• Client Liaison: gather client information and manage ongoing relationships.
• Financial Planning: assist in cash flow models, investment strategies and retirement plans.
• Compliance: ensure recommendations and documentation comply with FCA guidelines.
• Administration Support: help process paperwork and client records.
• Review Meetings: prepare for client reviews with updated reports.
• Ongoing Development: stay updated on market changes and regulatory updates.
