Job Opportunity: IES Thermal Modeller

One of London’s leading M&E Design consultancies is seeking an IES Thermal Modeller for a contract remote working assignment. The primary responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking modelling work in IES to ensure compliance with Part L, TM59, TM52, and BREEAM standards.
  • Measuring thermal bridging for SAP.
  • Collaborating with the Sustainability Team on planning submissions, compliance design work, and ventilation design.
Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the team and engineers to understand project briefs and undertake modelling accordingly.
  • Provide design solutions tailored to client and project requirements.
  • Generate IES models through geometry and system inputs for various developments.
  • Assess compliance with Part L, TM52, and TM59 overheating criteria.
  • Follow established procedures and guidelines to produce models and documentation.
  • Utilize IES, Microsoft Office, and other approved software tools.
Person Specification
  • Interest or understanding in sustainability or related disciplines.
  • Ability to work independently with good organizational and planning skills.
  • Professional, personable, and competent demeanor.
  • Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and develop effective relationships.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
