Job summary

Fortalice in Bolton is seeking an Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) to provide high-quality support to victims of domestic abuse, prioritising those at highest risk. You will advocate within a multi-agency framework, including MARAC, and work to reduce further abuse.

Candidates should hold a SafeLives IDVA training certificate or have relevant experience. A strong understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on victims and their children is essential, as is knowledge of local Bolton

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality support to victims of domestic abuse, focusing on those at highest risk and advocating for them.
• Work within a multi-agency framework, including MARAC and local partnerships.
• Engage with Bolton’s domestic abuse services and support language, cultural and faith barriers as needed.
