Location: Northampton (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week)

• Seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer to design, implement, and optimize IAM solutions using IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM).
• Apply Java development skills to integrate and customize IAM tools, ensuring secure access controls, identity provisioning, and compliance across enterprise systems and applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement IAM solutions with ISIM for user provisioning, de-provisioning, and RBAC.
• Develop and maintain Java applications for IAM integrations, including custom connectors and workflows.
• Integrate ISIM with third-party identity providers, applications, databases, and LDAP directories.
• Ensure IAM solutions follow security best practices and comply with standards like GDPR and HIPAA.
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize workflows for better performance.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and development teams for scalable IAM solutions.
• Stay updated on IAM trends and contribute to architecture evolution.

Requirements:

• Experience with IAM tools such as IBM Security Identity Manager, Ping Identity, or Microsoft Identity Manager.
• Knowledge of IAM protocols (LDAP, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with IAM administration, user provisioning, role management, and access reviews.
• Proficiency in Java and frameworks like Spring and Hibernate.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Experience with complex, multi-system IAM projects.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation.

Nice to have:

• Experience with ISIM components (workflows, connectors, reporting).
• Knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes.
