Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking an Identity & Access Management (IAM) Analyst for AI training to help build models that understand enterprise security. This remote, hourly contract role invites you to analyze IAM scenarios, diagnose access control weaknesses, and contribute to safer AI systems.

You will apply knowledge of RBAC, SSO, and least-privilege, review zero-trust designs, and generate realistic identity data for training and benchmarking AI.

Qualifications

What You'll Do

• Analyze realistic IAM, SSO, and access control scenarios to identify weaknesses, misconfigurations, and privilege escalation paths
• Classify permission issues and identity-related failures with structured, expert reasoning
• Review zero-trust models and evaluate access design decisions for security gaps
• Generate and validate realistic identity security data used to train and benchmark AI systems
• Help AI understand how identity risk actually emerges and propagates in enterprise environments

Who You Are

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with IAM, SSO, or enterprise identity platforms
• Solid understanding of RBAC, least-privilege principles, and access review processes
• Familiar with how identity failures occur in the real world — and how attackers exploit them
• Detail-oriented, systematic, and able to communicate complex security concepts clearly in writing
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on async, task-based assignments

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud identity platforms (Azure AD, AWS IAM, Okta, etc.)
• Background in security architecture, access governance, or identity threat modeling
• Familiarity with frameworks like NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, or Zero Trust architectures
• Prior experience contributing to AI training, red teaming, or security research
