Job Introduction

Are you looking for a role where you can make a real difference in supporting prisoners’ rehabilitation and employment outcomes? This role provides administrative support for the pathways program, assisting in reducing reoffending by offering prisoners opportunities from reception to release. The job holder will work closely with the Employment Hub, facilitating the Prisoner Banking Programme, ID Programme, and supporting the matching of job vacancies to potential candidates.

Main Responsibilities
  • Pathways Support: Assist prisoners with applications through the Prisoner Banking and ID programs, keeping accurate records and ensuring adherence to procedures.
  • Data Management: Maintain financial records, collect relevant management information, and produce reports as needed.
  • Job Matching: Assist Prison Employment Leads in identifying and matching candidates to job opportunities.
  • Administrative Tasks: Organize and maintain accurate records, manage communication within the team, and process requisitions.
  • Event Organization: Help arrange job clubs, exit interviews, housing clinics, and induction assessments.
  • Reporting: Collate information on Service Delivery Indicators (SDIs) and ensure timely reporting.
