Job summary

Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Torbay Hospital in Torquay. The post is Band 5, full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with days, nights and weekends as required. Salary ranges £32,073–£39,043 per annum.

You will be part of an integrated multidisciplinary team and supported with a bespoke critical care induction program to develop your ICU skills. Flexibility on hours and location is expected.

Qualifications

• NMC Registered General Nurse with current pin
• Minimum 12 months' full-time (or equivalent) experience on an acute ward within the last 2 years

• Care for critically ill patients and their families
• Administer medications and treatments per local/national guidelines
• Work with multidisciplinary team and act as a role model for junior staff
