Locum ICU Clinical Pharmacist

JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you an ICU Pharmacist looking for a rewarding locum role in West London ? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a prestigious private hospital where your specialist ICU knowledge can make a real difference!

- Job Title : ICU Pharmacist (Band 7/8a) - Location : West London - Duration : 3 months initially (very likely to extend) (likely extension) - Rate of Pay : £30-£37 per hour (DOE)

What You'll Be Doing:

Join our client's team as an ICU Pharmacist and play a key role in improving the lives of critically ill patients in the intensive care unit. In this role, you will:

- Deliver advanced clinical pharmacy services to adult ICU patients - Monitor, manage, and optimise drug therapies - Attend and contribute to daily multidisciplinary ward rounds - Support other departments such as surgery when needed - Collaborate closely with ICU staff and prescribers to improve outcomes - Maintain accurate, evidence-based clinical records

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A current and valid GPhC registration - Hospital pharmacy experience is essential - ICU experience is required - this is a specialist role - Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills - A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This is a full-time locum post , Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:30. The initial contract is for 3 months starting in June , with strong potential to extend depending on service needs and performance.
