JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you an ICU Pharmacist looking for a rewarding locum role in West London? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a prestigious private hospital where your specialist ICU knowledge can make a real difference!

• Job Title: ICU Pharmacist (Band 7/8a)
• Location: West London
• Duration: 3 months initially (very likely to extend)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:30
• Start Date: June 2025
• End Date: August 2025 (likely extension)
• Rate of Pay: £30–£37 per hour (DOE)

What You’ll Be Doing:

Join our client’s team as an ICU Pharmacist and play a key role in improving the lives of critically ill patients in the intensive care unit. In this role, you will:

• Deliver advanced clinical pharmacy services to adult ICU patients
• Monitor, manage, and optimise drug therapies
• Attend and contribute to daily multidisciplinary ward rounds
• Support other departments such as surgery when needed
• Collaborate closely with ICU staff and prescribers to improve outcomes
• Maintain accurate, evidence-based clinical records

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A current and valid GPhC registration
• Hospital pharmacy experience is essential
• ICU experience is required – this is a specialist role
• Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills
• A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

This is a full-time locum post, Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:30. The initial contract is for 3 months starting in June, with strong potential to extend depending on service needs and performance.
