Royal Berkshire is seeking a compassionate Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our 20-bedded Intensive Care Unit in Reading. The post offers NHS experience, mentorship, and a supportive practice education team; ICU training is provided.

You will develop, implement and review nursing care, maintain patient records, and work within a skilled team while supporting students and junior colleagues. Applicants must have current NHS nursing experience, ICU initial training welcomed, and be NMC registered.

Qualifications

• Must have current or recent NHS hospital experience.
• Nursing experience in an acute medical setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and review planned nursing care for ICU patients.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
• Support junior staff and students to deliver high standards of care.
