Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Consultant in Intensive Care and Anaesthesia to join the existing team and provide a comprehensive ICU service. The role involves a full-time commitment to ICU hot weeks, on-call duties, and weekend coverage, with additional weekday anaesthetic sessions to meet a 10 PA contract.

The ICU comprises 21 single rooms with flexible level 2/3 beds and a broad network across three locations.

Qualifikationen

• CCTs in ICM and anaesthesia (or within six months of attainment).
• Full-time commitment to ICU hot weeks, ICU on call and weekend cover alongside weekday anaesthetic sessions.
• Ability to contribute to ICU on-call rota and provide weekend ICU consultant cover.

Aufgaben

• Provide intensive care cover alongside the ICU team.
• Participate in ICU on-call rota (1:12) and weekend cover (1:12; occasional 1:7 overall).
• Undertake additional anaesthesia sessions to meet a 10 PA contract with core SPA included.
