Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed Revit models, drawings, and related documents for security and life safety systems.
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency of Revit models and drawings.
• Assist in developing Revit standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot issues with Revit models.
• Provide technical support to team members.
• Make basic updates to family objects.
• Produce 2D sheets, work with views, sheets, and title blocks.
• Utilize BIM360, Navisworks, Excel, DiRoots.
• Understand scheduling and shared parameters.
• Coordinate federated models and perform clash detection.
• Audit and coordinate design models for compliance with BIM execution plans.
• Update drawing annotations, including as-built references, revisions, and statuses.
• Validate redlines and present to clients.
• Use Bluebeam and markups to aid modeling.
• Apply knowledge of point cloud scans and the as-built process.
• Work within project timescales and deadlines.
• Follow specific client protocols.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Revit and other BIM software is essential.
• Previous experience in security or construction industry roles.
