Job description

The Project Manager (PM) will be an integral member of a team tasked with installing Security Systems at various customer locations throughout Europe. The primary responsibility of this position is to manage and coordinate the installation of all or selected orders received by the company. This role requires a high degree of initiative and autonomy, as well as the capacity to adapt to organizational changes and workload fluctuations. Extensive travel across Europe, including periods away from home, will be necessary.

You will also supervise Installation Engineers and any Contractors, ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety and Environmental Policy requirements of the company and the client.

Responsibilities
  1. Receive project assignments from the Operations Director, and oversee planning, scheduling, installation, and project handover.
  2. Review project details thoroughly to understand contract conditions.
  3. Coordinate with Sales and Customers to verify that equipment meets system requirements and address inquiries during this phase.
  4. Monitor the project schedule and communicate any changes to the customer and Sales team promptly.
  5. Ensure project profitability and report any concerns to the Operations Director.
  6. Track project progress and inform the Operations Director of any changes during regular reviews.
  7. Keep relevant stakeholders updated on project progress.
  8. Coordinate customer training and ensure completion certificates are signed and delivered.
  9. Provide all necessary documentation at project handover.
  10. Notify the Operations Director of upcoming project completions.
  11. Provide feedback to optimize customer invoicing processes.
  12. Comply with ISO9001, Health and Safety regulations, NACOSS procedures, and local codes.
  13. Adhere to GDPR and ISO27001 protocols, ensuring team compliance.
Requirements
  1. At least 2 years of Project Management experience with diverse projects in terms of size and value.
  2. Strong knowledge of Electronic Security systems installation.
  3. Training or awareness of standard contract forms such as NEC3/4, JCT.
  4. Ability to generate and interpret work programs using Microsoft Project or similar tools.
