ICT Teacher
Location: Walsall
Start Date: September 2025
Salary:MPS/UPS (depending on experience)
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable ICT Teacher to join a secondary school in the Walsall area. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver engaging lessons that develop students’ digital skills, problem-solving abilities and understanding of computing and information technology.
The successful candidate will be confident in delivering the ICT curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4 and will play a key role in preparing students for an increasingly digital world.
Role Responsibilites:
Plan and deliver high-quality ICT lessons in line with the national curriculum
Teach a range of ICT and computing topics including digital literacy, coding and data handling
Support students in developing key skills for assessments and future learning
Monitor progress and provide targeted support and feedback
Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement in the classroom
Contribute to departmental planning and school-wide ICT initiatives
Role Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Strong subject knowledge in ICT and computing
Experience teaching ICT at secondary level, including KS3 and KS4
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A passion for digital learning and a commitment to student success
Understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices
