The ideal candidate will be confident teaching ICT across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential to support Computer Science delivery and contribute to digital learning initiatives across the school.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
Planning and delivering interactive ICT lessons, covering topics like digital systems, programming, cyber safety, and data analysis
Preparing students for GCSE ICT or Computer Science, ensuring strong progress across a range of abilities
Encouraging critical thinking and creativity through projects involving coding, software use, and IT-based problem-solving
Embedding digital citizenship and responsible online behaviour into the curriculum
Supporting extra-curricular clubs, coding challenges, or school-wide tech events
Collaborating with colleagues to integrate tech more effectively across subjects
You Will Be a Great Fit If You:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification
Have experience teaching ICT in a UK secondary setting
Are familiar with curriculum changes, including GCSE Computer Science frameworks
Have a passion for digital learning, coding, and emerging technology
Can deliver lessons that are both technically accurate and engaging for diverse learners
Are proactive, tech-savvy, and committed to keeping students safe online
