Part time ICT Teacher – Computing Teacher

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a dedicated ICT or Computing Teacher to join a reputable Special School in rural West Sussex. This role is ideal for a compassionate individual with a drive to support students with a range of emotional, behavioural, social, or communication difficulties, as well as learning challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Delivering tailored educational programs to students from KS3 to KS4.
  • Fostering a nurturing and supportive classroom environment that promotes healthy physical, emotional, and behavioural development.
  • Collaborating with senior leaders, subject teachers, school doctor, and therapists to support each child’s growth and development.
  • Adapting teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students with BESD in a therapeutic setting.
  • Engaging in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practices and contribute to the school community.
Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
