Job summary

VolkerWessels UK is seeking a Systems Developer to design, develop, and maintain critical software across the organisation. You will work across the full software lifecycle, delivering secure, scalable solutions and cloud-based integrations.

The role is permanent, full-time, based onsite in Hoddesdon. You will collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure effective delivery, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and produce high-quality documentation while adhering to governance and security

Qualifications

• Experience with Azure cloud technologies, including Logic Apps and Azure Functions.
• Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and web services.
• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD practices.
• Experience supporting applications in a live environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a structured approach to work.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Customer-focused with a strong service mindset.

VolkerWessels UK is seeking a Systems Developer to support the design, development, and maintenance of business-critical applications across the organisation. This role plays a key part in delivering secure, scalable, and high-quality software solutions that underpin operational performance.

You’ll work across the full software development lifecycle, contributing to new application development, system enhancements, and cloud-based integrations. You will also collaborate closely with project teams, stakeholders, and support functions to ensure effective delivery and continuous improvement of systems and processes.

Please note that this is a permanent, full time role, based onsite in Hoddesdon.
