The Councils Technology Service is seeking a forward-thinking individual to join us as an ICT Strategic Solutions Analyst. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering our digital ambition and supporting service transformation across the organisation.

Are you passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems? Do you want to help shape how a council adopts Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and other emerging technologies to transform public services?

Working closely with the ICT Strategic Solutions Team, you will:

• Provide strategic advice and consultancy on the adoption of technologies such as AI, RPA, Cloud, Internet of Things (IoT), and digital service design.
• Support feasibility studies, develop business cases, and commission prototypes to explore the impact of new and emerging technologies.
• Support the councils AI adoption roadmap, including pilots in automated minute-taking, AI-generated casework, and AI tool rollout.
• Champion innovation by reviewing existing systems and identifying opportunities to improve services through technology.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation to articulate the art of the possible and drive meaningful change.

You will need to be the type of individual who can challenge the current business environment and working practices, at all levels, to exploit the use of technology. To do this you will need proven influential and negotiation skills when dealing with complex issues.
