Job summary

West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Project Manager in the ICT Department to support key projects across the trust. The role focuses on managing projects from initiation through delivery, with a strong emphasis on organisation, communication, and NHS context.

You will work within a dynamic ICT team, coordinating with multi-disciplinary groups to ensure timely implementation and successful outcomes while navigating complex NHS processes and IT infrastructure changes.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent; or previous experience in project management.
• PRINCE2 practitioner or equivalent NHS Project Management Experience.
• Post graduate degree in Health Informatics or related discipline e.g. MSc.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from initiation to successful delivery.
• Establish project milestones and plans with the ICT Programme Manager and sponsor.
• Plan projects impacting clinical and non-clinical areas and deliver timelines.
