Overview

We are looking for IT Professionals ready to make the changes needed within schools.

You’ll be based at home with a mix of field-based work at the client’s schools (in your area) and remote helpdesk work outside of the times you are on site.

Do you welcome solving problems, enjoy working with people, and have an excellent knowledge of Cloud technology? Whether you’ve previously supported schools or come from a client-facing IT support background, we’d like to hear from you.

Our client is focussed on providing effective tech solutions specifically for the education sector, helping schools leverage technology to their full potential. Our client, a successful organisation that is expanding the team looking for an ICT Support Engineer / ICT Technician to join them.

Your role will be crucial in ensuring their technology infrastructure is reliable, secure, and supports their educational goals. We are looking for someone with an excellent knowledge of Windows operating systems and Mac OS / iOS, management of Active Directory, Office 365 and Azure, Group Policy, networking concepts and associated hardware.

Responsibilities
  • Address a wide range of ICT needs for schools, from troubleshooting to implementing proactive tech improvements.
  • Work hands-on with leading cloud platforms such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and ideally Azure.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for school staff, helping them effectively utilise their technology beyond just resolving issues.
  • Work with a team that values practical solutions, reliability, and contributing positively to the education environment.
  • Contribute to their Information Security Management System (ISMS) by adhering to relevant ISO standards, policies, and procedures, maintaining high levels of security and compliance.
