Turn IT on is looking for an ICT Consultant with a passion for technology and excellent customer service to join our team supporting schools in and around Swindon and surrounding areas. The role involves providing onsite IT support across school sites.

You will be responsible for maintaining IT hardware and services, improving ICT provisions, and enabling effective teaching and learning through ICT solutions. You will act as a communication link between your schools and Turn IT on, managing customer accounts and keeping them informed about our services.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in ICT support, preferably in the education sector, with a strong technical background, self-motivation, and excellent customer service skills. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office365 and experience in maintaining school computer equipment and software are essential.

Responsibilities include:

• Resolving technical issues impacting school operations with effective solutions
• Installing or repairing computers, diagnosing problems, and maintaining network and desktop services
• Supporting a range of hardware including iPads, printers, telephones, scanners, projectors, PA equipment, AV lecterns, and hardware

This is a full-time, full-year position, subject to enhanced DBS and safeguarding checks. The salary is negotiable between £24,000 and £30,000, with benefits such as pension, electric/hybrid car scheme, cycle/ebike scheme, eye care vouchers, mental health support, employee assistance, and recognition schemes.
