A reputable tile manufacturer in Exeter seeks an ICT apprentice to provide user support and maintain systems. The role involves logging and resolving technical issues, managing user accounts, and collaborating with experts. Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for IT. The apprenticeship offers a pathway to a full-time position upon completion.
You will be part of a multi-disciplined team, acting as a first point of contact for the support of applications and ICT infrastructure for the internal userbase. Working within the ICT team you will respond to incoming support requests via the companies Service Desk application or telephone. Thereafter you will be responsible for initial investigation, qualification and categorisation all support tickets. You will apply known fixes where available, escalating to 2nd and 3rd line specialists or application developers for guidance and assistance where necessary.

Hours: 37.00 per week

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, we would hope to offer the candidate a full-time position within Original Style. You will attend Exeter College one day a week (during term time) from February/March working towards your Level 3 Information Communication Technician apprenticeship.
