Job description
Overview

We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Network and ICT Manager to join our fantastic team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical ICT support to pupils and staff at both Hargate and some neighbouring Sandwell schools.
  • Be responsible for leading new innovations on ICT.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Be required to work with pupils, as directed by teaching staff/Senior Leaders, in order to support the use of curriculum resources and achievement through the use of ICT.
  • Develop a full understanding of the school’s management information system in relation to data collection, analysis and reporting.

Key requirements
  • GCSE pass/ equivalent in English and Maths.
  • A Level or equivalent Level 3 ICT qualification.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • MCP/MCSA/MCSE/CompTIA A+ or equivalent.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Good verbal, listening and communication skills that enable you to work with a wide variety of people.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to take direction but also work as part of a team.
  • Reliable and dependable and willing to “pitch in” at all times.
Conditions of the Post
  • Term-time working, plus one week.
  • 37 hours per week – we are happy to consider part-time working.
  • Working pattern – Monday – Thursday 8:15am – 4:15pm, Friday 8:15am – 3:45pm.
  • Salary £31,537 - £36,3635 (full time equivalent) Term Time plus one week.
  • Actual salary £28,262 - £32,586 (pro rata to weeks worked).
