Job description

ICT and Functional Skills Maths Tutor, London

Morgan Hunt is working with a community-focused Training Provider recruiting for an ICT and Functional Skills Maths Tutor. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension. The role involves travelling between two sites near Vauxhall and Greenwich to deliver in-person training.

The tutor will teach post-16 and adult learners ICT and Functional Skills Maths up to Level 2. The salary ranges from £27,000 to £29,000 per year.

Responsibilities:

• Creating lesson plans and schemes of work
• Delivering ICT and Functional Skills Maths up to Level 2
• Tracking, monitoring, and reporting learner progress to the wider curriculum team
• Providing Information, Advice, and Guidance (IAG) to learners
• Completing documentation for awarding bodies and external organizations
• Preparing for External Quality Assurance (EQA) visits
• Conducting reviews with the quality team

Requirements:

• A Level 5 teaching qualification
• Experience teaching ICT and Functional Skills Maths Level 2 to post-16 and adult learners
• A minimum of grade C in English and Maths or equivalent
• Ability to travel between client sites
