ICP Scientist at Campden BRI performs high volume commercial analytical chemistry testing for food and drink, including: nutritional and health, microscopy, biochemistry, allergens, chromatography, packaging, cereals and ingredients, and wines and spirits. Our ICP Team provides key technical support and insight to our customers performing metals and Sodium testing using ICP-OES & ICP-MS.
You will be:
Scoping and developing client specific analytical projects
Method development and improvement of existing methods
Maintenance of analytical instrumentation
Technical requirements scoping for capital expenditure
Technical training of employees and clients
Client liaison for technical enquiries
Commercial awareness in timely service/project delivery
Driving operational efficiency and safe working compliance with business systems
Position Responsibilities
Method development, improvement, and optimisation including literature review and validation studies.
Instrument maintenance.
Development of SOPs and ancillary documentation.
Providing internal training.
Internal auditing, technical method reviews and technical input to NCWs.
Reviewing emerging industry issues and technologies.
