ROLE OVERVIEW

A leading company in the Analytical Services sector is seeking a talented ICS Scientist to join their team based in the South West. As the ICS Scientist, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and insight to both the business and external stakeholders for analytical products. As part of the development of the role, you will be given support to attend external trainings.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

As the ICS Scientist, you will become an expert that will support the business. The key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  1. Troubleshooting of ICP-OES & ICP-MS products (Agilent).
  2. Method development and improvement of existing methods.
  3. Maintenance of analytical instrumentation.
  4. Technical training of employees and clients.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Scientist, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

  1. Relevant degree in Chemical or Analytical Sciences.
  2. Proven industry experience in method development and validation.
  3. A working knowledge and practical experience with ICP-OES & ICP-MS.
