ICP Project Manager - Permanent - Design & Build Contractor - Birmingham - Electrical Infrastructure Works

Your new company

Our client, a leading utilities contractor based in Birmingham, specialising in the design and delivery of electrical infrastructure solutions across the UK, is seeking an ICP Project Manager to join their team. This established contractor has a strong pipeline of work with Tier 1 and regional contractors, offering excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to ongoing success, they are looking to onboard an ICP Project Manager to join their management team. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Birmingham with flexible working options.

Your new role

As ICP Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing all aspects of project delivery from inception through to completion and handover
2. Creating and maintaining project programmes, forecasts, and procurement schedules
3. Monitoring and reviewing financial and delivery performance
4. Coordinating with subcontractors and clients regarding health and safety inspections and audits
5. Liaising with delivery teams and coordinating site activities to ensure project timelines are met
6. Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful, you should have:

1. Proven experience overseeing electrical infrastructure projects (ICP/EV/HV/LV) from start to finish
2. Thorough understanding of the DNO/ICP delivery process and project lifecycles
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships
4. Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously
5. A full UK driving licence
