Job summary

Alfred H Knight in Liverpool, UK is seeking an ICP Supervisor to oversee the Precious Metals ICP Department within our wet chemistry laboratories. You will work with the Precious Metals ICP Manager and lab teams to ensure precise, accurate analyses and high standards, acting as the first point of contact for submitting labs.

The role requires hands-on ICP-OES experience, the ability to mentor ICP Operators and Sample Preparation technicians, and a proactive approach to maintain workflow

Qualifications

• Three or more years hands on experience with an ICP-OES Spectrometer.
• Experience creating and validating instrument methods.
• Proven time management skills, quality driven and proactive.
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Precious Metals ICP Department in the Liverpool lab.
• Provide high-level technical guidance to ICP Operators and Sample Preparation technicians.
• Ensure accurate, timely analyses and high standards for lab submissions.
• Collaborate with the ICP Manager and lab teams to optimise workflows.
