Job description

ICA Technicians - Thames Water Project

ICA Technicians are required for a 6-month project with Thames Water. This role is site-based, with assignments at different Thames Water sites weekly, but primarily based in Winnersh.

Start date: Immediate

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage all aspects of installation and commissioning under your control.
  2. Respond promptly to progress updates and requests from the Project Manager and client.
  3. Liaise with the client and Project Manager regarding site works, health & safety issues, and preparation works.
  4. Complete quality checks to ensure standards are met.
  5. Monitor and report progress against the plan, highlighting delays to mitigate and manage changes.
  6. Manage and monitor the selection and requisition of materials, ensuring procurement is authorized by the Project Manager.
  7. Provide technical support and share knowledge with team members.
  8. Complete handover documentation within the required timescales.
Experience Needed:
  • Instrumentation and telemetry experience.
  • Previous experience in installation and commissioning, electrical work.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Telemetry experience—Brodersen preferred, but Siemens or similar brands are acceptable.
