EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Severn Trent Services, Severn Trent Group’s commercial arm, are currently looking for an Electrical/instrumentation technician to join our growing team. This role will involve working and travelling between our Water and Wastewater assets on various MoD and major contract sites across the south of England.
You will play a key role ensuring efficiency across the business through Instrumentation, and electrical control. We’re looking for someone to provide technical support to Water Services Contracts and central functions to ensure compliance against company standards. Whilst also supporting the electricians in fault finding advanced systems and commissioning small scale instals.
Our Electrical/instrumentation Technician will also be responsible for supporting the maintenance and installation of instrumentation and telemetry systems, while working to achieve the best solutions to suit the needs of the business.
You will be covering the southern half of the mod patch, between the hours of 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday – Friday. In exchange we’ll provide a company van & fuel card to allow you to start work from home whilst also investing in your personal development, including Compex training, that once passed qualifies you for an additional monthly allowance.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
As a minimum we’re looking for you to have experience in Instrumentation, SCADA and PLC software/hardware. Whilst ideally you will also hold a recognised qualification level 3 or above in an Engineering discipline (Electrical/Control systems) or equivalent experience. Having your 18th Edition and Compex is desirable. A full UK driving licence will be required for the role.
