Location: North West, North East, and South of Yorkshire / Hybrid Working
Work type: Permanent, 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Standby expected after achieving required progression level, with occasional overtime possible.
We have an exciting opportunity for an ICA Technician to join a regional team (North West, North East, or South) at Yorkshire Water, helping us provide excellent service to our customers. Could this be you?
What we do:
Yorkshire Water ensures over 5.4 million residents and visitors have access to clean, safe drinking water and proper wastewater management. We are committed to communities, environmental protection, and sustainable water management, operating 24/7, 365 days a year. The Instrumentation, Control, and Automation teams are vital to meeting evolving customer and regulatory expectations.
As an ICA technician within our Asset Delivery team, you will work independently across various locations, handling planned and reactive ICA tasks within set timeframes, quality, and budget. Your responsibilities include maintaining, repairing, and commissioning instrumentation, control, automation, and telemetry systems at treatment works, pumping stations, CSOs, and reservoirs. We provide in-house training on PLCs, SCADA, and instruments to support your role.
