About the Job
The talent management function of the Global IBEN department supports the delivery of quality services to schools across all four IB programmes globally through talent acquisition, quality assurance and allocation of educators to suitable IB events. IBEN department plays a strategic role to progress business growth, supporting it in its present and future goals.
This position supports educators, onsite and/or remotely, and collaborates closely with internal stakeholders, in making the IBEN network perform efficiently. The jobholder contributes to recruitment and training of IB Educators. All recruited IB Educators must have appropriate qualifications, experience, and capabilities; being provided with appropriate training and upskilling to deliver the roles to which they have been appointed. Through this the jobholder plays a part in supporting the delivery of the IB mission.
The job holder protects the integrity of the IB through ensuring that all IB Educator´s data systems is managed effectively and that the IB complies with all relevant regulations and laws.
Key Responsibilities
All IB Educators are managed within applicable legal, financial regulations and IB policies.
Data is entered and maintained to ensure accuracy.
IBE queries are closed in line with organizational KPIs.
Support projects and initiatives by providing data and information.
Work with project teams to identify opportunities for improvement.
Supports the recruitment of IB Educators to ensure all IB services to schools can be delivered.
All stages of each application process are completed to agreed standards and timelines.
Accurate information is shared with other teams and departments to support recruitment of IB Educators.
Feedback is collated and provided regarding process improvements.
Data and information is provided to support future planning and continuous improvement.
Events are staffed within agreed SLAs.
Event information is shared with IBEs and relevant teams.
IB Educator feedback is positive.
About You
A first degree or equivalent.
Good communication skills and the ability to build and foster productive working relationships.
Experience in community building (networking, community support, event management).
A good command of the English language.
High degree of flexibility and adaptability when working in a small team environment.
Demonstrable ability to communicate well across all levels of an organization and well-developed presentation skills.
Ability to design and review multi-stage and interconnected processes.
Able to review and utilise data to identify opportunities and risks, and to explain and justify decisions.
Desirable Attributes:
Demonstrable educational experience, some of which ideally in a professional development capacity.
A good working knowledge of the IB and its programmes, either centrally or in the regions.
Ability to work in French and/or Spanish.
