IBA Reconciliations Technician – 18m FTC

Department: IBA & Credit Control

Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Description

As a result of strong organic growth, CFC is seeking to appoint an IBA Reconciliations Technician to join our fantastic finance team here in London on an 18 month fixed term contract. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring funds are paid on to our supporting markets swiftly and accurately.

About the role

This role offers a rare but fantastic opportunity to support the IBA Operations Team in a highly effective Finance function and obtain a real breadth of experience in a highly profitable fast-growing environment.

Amongst other things, you will work on:

• Claims Money Management – To assist in the administration of the loss and non-loss fund monies held by CFC. This function includes setting up online payments through the bank and associated administrative tasks – cash posting, allocation, reconciliations and communication and reporting.
• Claims Reconciliations – To assist with the daily reconciliations from carrier to internal systems, credit control of TPA fees and reporting.
• Bank Account Management – Ensure money movements within the bank accounts are recorded accurately, the accounts are reconciled on a regular basis and presented to management for review.
• Premium Reconciliations – Ensure Data in Accounting system reflects underwriting systems data. Any anomalies found will need to be reprocessed or queried to be resolved.
• Payments and Bordereaux reconciliations.
• All round IBA Reconciliations.
• Support IBA Function through new system project.

About you

MGA experience would be of particular interest to us, naturally, but is by no means a must! Excel skills however are vital for this role.
