Job Description:

We are hiring for a new role of IBA Technician at a growing insurance brokerage firm.

Due to expansion, an additional IBA Technician is needed to support the activities of the Finance and Technical Processing team.

The responsibilities include:

  • Bank reconciliation and cash matching
  • Income ledger administration, including posting to IBS
  • Preparation and processing of premium, commission, and claims payments
  • Knowledge of banking systems for premium, commission, and claims payments
  • Accurate record keeping using our electronic data management system
  • Monitoring credit risk, funding, unallocated cash, un-forwarded balances, and unrealized brokerage
  • Producing intracompany reports and schedules
  • Resolving queries related to receipts of unexpected or unidentified funds
  • Addressing queries from clients and underwriters
  • Collaborating with international offices and providing IBA support
  • Handling tasks on multi-currency and multi-company ledgers

Requirements include:

  • At least 2 years of experience in an IBA role
  • Knowledge of client money rules and legal principles applicable to insurance
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to understand problems and propose solutions
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines without compromising quality
