Job Description:

We are hiring for a new role of IBA Technician at a growing insurance brokerage.

Due to company expansion, an additional IBA Technician is needed to support the Finance and Technical Processing team.

The responsibilities include:

• Bank reconciliation and cash matching
• Income ledger administration, including posting to IBS
• Preparation and processing of premium, commission, and claims payments
• Knowledge of banking systems for payments
• Maintaining accurate records using our internal electronic data management system
• Monitoring credit risk, funding, unallocated cash, and unrealised brokerage
• Producing intracompany reports and schedules
• Resolving queries related to receipts of unexpected or unidentified funds
• Liaising with clients, underwriters, and international offices
• Handling multi-currency and multi-company ledgers

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in an IBA role
• Knowledge of client money rules and legal principles in insurance
• Attention to detail and accuracy
