Job Description:

NEW ROLE FOR IBA Technician for growing Insurance Brokers.

Due to expansion, a new role for an additional IBA Technician has been created to support the activities of the Finance and Technical Processing team.

You will be involved in:

  • Bank reconciliation and cash matching
  • Income ledger administration, including posting to IBS
  • Preparation and processing of premium, commission, and claims payments
  • Bank reconciliations and knowledge of banking systems to enable premium, commission, and claims payments
  • Accurate record keeping using our internal electronic data management system
  • Monitoring credit risk, funding, unallocated cash, un-forwarded balances, and unrealised Brokerage
  • Production of intracompany reports and associated schedules
  • Query resolution regarding receipts of unexpected or unidentified funds
  • Query resolution from clients and underwriters
  • Liaison with international offices and providing IBA support
  • Undertake tasks on a multi-currency and multi-company ledger

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in an IBA role
  • Working knowledge of client money rules and legal principles applicable to insurance
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication skills with the ability to understand problems and propose solutions
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize, and meet deadlines without compromising quality
