Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified IBA Technician for a growing insurance brokerage. Due to expansion, a new role has been created to support the Finance and Technical Processing team.

You will be involved in:

1. Bank reconciliation and cash matching
2. Income ledger administration, including posting to IBS
3. Preparation and processing of premium, commission, and claims payments
4. Bank reconciliations and knowledge of banking systems to facilitate payments
5. Accurate record keeping using our electronic data management system
6. Monitoring credit risk, funding, unallocated cash, un-forwarded balances, and unrealised brokerage
7. Producing intracompany reports and schedules
8. Resolving queries related to unexpected or unidentified funds
9. Handling queries from clients and underwriters
10. Liaising with international offices and providing IBA support
11. Managing tasks in a multi-currency and multi-company ledger environment

Requirements include:

• At least 2 years of experience in an IBA role
• Working knowledge of client money rules and legal principles in insurance
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills, with the ability to understand problems and propose solutions
• Time management skills to meet deadlines without compromising quality
