Job Description:

We are hiring a new IBA Technician for our growing Insurance Broking team.

Due to expansion, we have created a new role for an additional IBA Technician to support the activities of the Finance and Technical Processing team.

The responsibilities include:

1. Bank reconciliation and cash matching
2. Income ledger administration, including posting to IBS
3. Preparation and processing of premium, commission, and claims payments
4. Bank reconciliations and banking systems knowledge to facilitate payments
5. Maintaining accurate records using our electronic data management system
6. Monitoring credit risk, funding, unallocated cash, un-forwarded balances, and unrealised brokerage
7. Producing intracompany reports and schedules
8. Resolving queries related to unexpected or unidentified funds
9. Handling queries from clients and underwriters
10. Liaising with international offices and providing IBA support
11. Managing tasks on a multi-currency and multi-company ledger

Candidates should have over 2 years of experience in an IBA role, with:

1. Working knowledge of client money rules and legal principles relevant to insurance
2. Attention to detail and accuracy
3. Good communication skills, with the ability to understand problems and propose effective solutions
4. Strong time management and prioritization skills to meet deadlines without compromising quality
