Our Client Support Services department has an opportunity for a IBA/Credit Control Analyst with our Fiduciary Team. This is available on a hybrid basis, offering home working for 2 days, with the other 3 days based in our office in Witham.

As an IBA/Credit Control Analyst, you will be securing agreement and settlement of balances with our Clients or markets. Handling & allocating payments and receipts for your own clients, which includes unique lines of business, programme structures, and reinsurance reporting requirements.

While a background in Reinsurance/insurance would be ideal, we also welcome applications from candidates in other sectors who can demonstrate the required transferable skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing your workload, defining cases, and addressing issues as needed.
• Working independently on routine tasks, consulting with senior colleagues when guidance is needed.
• Partnering with Operations Specialists for root cause analysis and process improvements.
• Processing premiums and loss transactions, managing associated cash follow-up, and disbursing funds.
• Coordinating with Client Service Support and colleagues to ensure a unified approach.
• Maintaining clear documentation supporting investigations and methodologies for senior management.
• Supporting wider activities like quarterly reviews of financial exposures and achieving key performance targets.
• Supporting client activities including transactional processing, follow-up, and reinsurance recoveries.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Accounts & Settlement processes.
• Proven client account management and relationship skills.
• Ability to manage workload and stakeholder expectations.
• Strong data management and analytical skills.
• Client-focused with problem-solving abilities for payment queries.

Preferred skills:

• Experience in Insurance or Reinsurance accounting and settlements.
• Knowledge of Bureau markets.
• Experience working with multiple currencies.
• Experience mentoring or training colleagues.
