Job description

An independent Lloyd’s Broker is recruiting for an IBA & Compliance Manager.

Due to recent and anticipated growth, a new hands-on role has been created to assist, oversee, and develop the Compliance, IBA Cash, and Broking Income reporting functions.

Key duties will include:

  1. Review, understand, and assist with current IBA processes.
  2. Undertake gap analysis, implement remedies, and de-risk the function from over-reliance on key personnel.
  3. Develop broking income reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes to enhance outputs.
  4. Lead projects to interrogate the IBA system's SQL database and build reporting capabilities to meet emerging needs.
  5. Manage, oversee, and develop client and underwriter TOBA and KYC processes.
  6. Ensure the UK branch's compliance with laws and regulations.
  7. Obtain overseas broking licence registrations (new and renewals).
  8. Undertake ad-hoc compliance tasks as required.

Applicants must have experience working for an insurance broker in the areas described above, be proactive and hands-on with process review and development, have experience in data project management, and be comfortable managing staff.
