Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic teamproviding high intensity interventions in COGNITIVE BEHAVIOURAL THERAPY (CBT), working with adults aged 16+ who have anxiety or depression for which CBT is demonstrated to be clinically effective. This is a fixed-term post for 12 months covering maternity leave.

This role will suit qualified therapists who hold an accredited registration with the BABCP or newly qualified CBT Therapists working towards accreditation.

The post holder will work within the service to provide high intensity CBT interventions to patients at Step 3 of the Talking Therapy service. We operate hybrid working to include remote/office based hours to include face to face patient contact, telephone and video conferencing. The contracted hours are 37.5 over 5 days. This is a full time post but we would consider applicants looking for part time.

In return we provide flexible working, regular supervision, opportunities for continued professional development (CPD), a wide range of wellbeing and support programmes including access to LGBTQ+, BAME, Disability and Carers Forums.

Redditch is a relatively new Town, near Birmingham and has good links to M42, M5 and a train station within walking distance to the office.

This is full time post, but we would consider applicants looking for part time.

Main duties of the job

A typical week will involve working autonomously and as part of a team. Working within a hybrid model you will offer CBT treatments from your home if appropriate and from your office base. You will work collaboratively with patients to assess and provide CBT interventions, supporting patients to work towards recovery via group and/or one to one CBT treatments. You will manage a caseload of individuals with mild to moderate depression and/or anxiety and will keep abreast of the requirements to meet KPI targets. You will maintain clear and accurate clinical records and will be supported to reflect on practice via regular supervision. You will undertake CPD to further your skills and knowledge base and there will be opportunity to develop your skills by facilitating groups, offering supervision and developing skills. You will maintain close links, both with your team and with relevant agencies within the care pathway.
