Job summary

Zohorecruit in Sheffield is seeking a Technical Lead (IAM) for a contract role. You will own the technical solution and architecture for the workstream, setting HLDs/LLDs and guiding technology choices to meet security and regulatory standards.

You will lead technical decisions, mentor engineers, review designs and code, manage risks and dependencies, and coordinate with internal teams and third-party suppliers. Production-readiness and DevSecOps are key focus areas.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical solution and architecture for the workstream.
• Define and maintain High Level Designs (HLDs) and Low Level Designs (LLDs).
• Lead technical decision making and technology selection.
• Ensure alignment with Enterprise Architecture, Security and Regulatory standards.
• Drive adoption of Zero Trust and Identity-first design principles.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams.
• Review solution designs, code and infrastructure changes.
• Manage technical risks, assumptions and dependencies.
• Coordinate integration activities across internal teams and third-party suppliers.
• Support planning, estimation and technical delivery.
• Define and assure non-functional requirements including: Availability, Resilience, Performance, Scalability, Observability, Security.
• Support architecture governance, design authorities and technical steering groups.
• Champion engineering best practices, DevSecOps and continuous improvement.
