Job summary

Syntax Consultancy is seeking an experienced IAM/IDM Architect for a permanent role in Wiltshire. The position is hybrid: 3 days remote and 2 days on-site in Corsham.

You will own end-to-end IAM/IDM architecture across development and operations, lead technical direction, and collaborate with stakeholders across IT, data and infrastructure on a large government transformation project.

Qualifications

• In-depth IAM/IDM experience essential, including leading IAM platforms like OpenText, NetIQ, SailPoint, Okta, CyberArk, ForgeRock and Microsoft Entra.
• Owning end-to-end IAM/IDM architecture across dev, data and service support workstreams.
• Excellent stakeholder management across applications, data, infrastructure and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of architecture and provide technical leadership for IAM/IDM initiatives.
• Lead end-to-end identity architectures across development, data and service support workstreams.
• Guide teams on identity workflows, provisioning, data flows and integration patterns.
• Provide technical direction across identity schemas, attributes and lifecycle management.

Corsham (Hybrid)

£90,000 - £115,000 + Benefits

IAM/IDM Architect needed for a permanent career opportunity in Wiltshire (Hybrid).

Hybrid Working - 3 days/week remote (WFH) + 2 days/week working on-site in Corsham (Wiltshire).

• IAM/IDM Architect who can take ownership of architecture, provide technical leadership + guide the team.
• In-depth Identity and Access Management (IAM/IDM) experience is essential, including leading IAM platforms like: OpenText, Net IQ, SailPoint, Okta, CyberArk, ForgeRock + Microsoft Entra.
• Owning the end-to-end IAM/IDM architecture across development, data + service support workstreams.
• Providing technical direction across identity workflows, life cycle processes, integrations, data flows, platform behaviour +operational supportability.
• Leading Identity Architecture including detailed identity designs, including schemas, attributes, data models, workflow rules, provisioning logic and integration behaviour.
• Excellent Stakeholder Management skills including working across application development, data, infrastructure, service operations + supplier teams.
• Technical Skills: identity schemas, data flows, attributes, APIs, microservices, integration patterns, identity life cycle, workflows, integration patterns, platform configuration + live-service supportability.
• Advantageous Skills: Azure AD, M365 identity integration, AWS Cloud, API Gateway, LDAP, Directory Services, data feeds, workflow engines, ETL + complex enterprise integration.
• Active SC Security Clearance is desirable for this position.
