Job summary

Acceler8 Talent is seeking a Senior IAM Engineer for a leading global financial services organisation in Central London. This is a hands-on role requiring deep Okta expertise to build, automate and improve enterprise identity platforms.

You will own Okta Workflows, manage Joiner/Mover/Leaver processes, implement Okta Identity Governance, and handle SSO, app integrations and lifecycle provisioning across Okta, Entra ID and Active Directory. The role is based in Central London with 4 days onsite.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Okta administration experience.
• Experience building and maintaining Okta Workflows in production.
• Strong knowledge of Okta Identity Governance and lifecycle management.

I'm recruiting for a Senior IAM Engineer to join a leading global financial services organisation in Central London.

We're not looking for a generalist cybersecurity professional. We need someone who really knows Okta inside out and has hands-on experience building, automating and improving enterprise identity platforms.

Salary: £60,000–£90,000

Location: Central London (4 days onsite)

Position: Senior IAM Engineer

What you'll be working on:

• Developing and maintaining Okta Workflows
• Automating Joiner/Mover/Leaver (JML) processes
• Implementing Okta Identity Governance (OIG)
• Building and troubleshooting Okta group rules and security policies
• Managing SSO, application integrations and lifecycle provisioning
• Working across Okta, Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory

What we're looking for:

• Strong, hands-on Okta engineering experience
• Proven experience developing Okta Workflows in production
• Experience with Okta Identity Governance
• Strong understanding of SAML, OIDC, SCIM and identity lifecycle management
• Practical knowledge of Entra ID, Active Directory and PowerShell
• Someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems rather than just administering existing systems
