Job summary

Gen II (UK) Southampton is seeking a talented IAM professional to join Gen II Technology Group. You will design, implement, and maintain our identity management environment, collaborating across technical and business teams as applications span on-premises and cloud environments.

As part of the IAM team, you will provision users and entitlements, monitor access, audit controls, and drive improvements to prevent issues, while aligning with information security policies.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or a related field.
• Experience in information security or information technology is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IAM products including Active Directory and Azure AD, Box, and password management.
• Ability to apply policies and provide excellent service to internal and external users.
• Ability to establish priorities and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provisioning of new and existing users and entitlements for critical applications.
• Assist with administration, monitoring, enforcement, audits and operational support of IAM systems.
• Onboarding/offboarding coordination with IT and business teams for all technology.
• Monitor and manage end-user access privileges.
• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend solutions to prevent issues.
• Participate in IAM projects to deliver scalable enterprise IAM.
• Ensure adherence to information security policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with IAM Analysts and other team members.
• Drive awareness of IAM standards among product and business owners.
• Take on additional duties as required.

What's the role?

The candidate will be a part of Gen II Technology Group. In this role you will be involved in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our identity management environment. Your role will involve collaboration across technical and business teams as applications utilize our on-premises and cloud-based environments.

What you'll be doing:

• Provisioning of new and existing users/entitlement requests for our critical applications (Box.com, Intacct, HazelTree, Onelogin, Bill.com, Active Directory/Azure, Last Pass)
• Assist with administration, monitoring, enforcement, quarterly audits, and operational support of Identity & Access Management (IAM) systems.
• Facilitate with Information Technology and Business teams of onboarding/offboarding processes for all technology
• Monitoring and administration of end users individual and group access privileges
• Conduct proper root cause analysis and make recommendations to prevent future occurrence of end user identify and access issues.
• Participate in projects to provide scalable and adaptable enterprise IAM
• Ensure adherence, without exception, to Information Security policies, procedures,
• Work within a team environment of Information Security Identity and Access Management Analysts and other team members.
• Drive awareness of IAM standards among product and business owners
• Additional duties as required

The ideal background for this role:

• Computer Science related degree
• Ideally some experience in Information Security or Information Technology related field.
• Strong knowledge of IAM products including Active Directory, Azure AD, Box.com, Password management and/or similar tools.
• Ability to apply policies and procedures to solve everyday company issues.
• Ability to proactively recognize and implement superior customer service to internal and external users
• Ability to establish priorities and coordinate work
• Strong organization skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong familiarity with Windows Desktop and Server environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication

Role Location/Hybrid Schedule

This role is based in our Southampton office. Although the nature of most of the roles within Gen II cannot be classed as totally flexible, there is scope in some cases for a form of Agile Working. The different ways in which Agile Working can be undertaken is dependent on the demands and needs of the business, the office space available and the individual’s preferences and circumstances.
